Job Description
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
1. Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, while supporting the month-end close process
2. Maintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledger by reviewing, posting, and adjusting journal entries as needed
3. Perform regular bank and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data
4. Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis between actual results and projections
5. Provide support for internal and external audits by compiling documentation and responding to auditor requests
6. Conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding issues
7. Utilize accounting systems and ERP platforms to process and manage financial data; experience with MAS 90 / Sage 100 is a strong plus
8. Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to support financial reporting needs and business performance objectives
9. Report directly to the CFO in a hands-on role with no direct reports and broad exposure across the organization

The Successful Applicant
10. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required
11. 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
12. Hands-on experience working with ERP systems; strong proficiency in advanced Excel functions is required
13. Self-motivated professional with a proactive mindset and a willingness to support team and business needs
14. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
15. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
