Job Responsibilities
Working in the Internal Control and Reporting process department, you will be in charge of:
1. Maintaining, updating, and improving the internal control framework with stakeholders.
2. Monitoring and controlling specific business processes related to managing insurance or reinsurance contracts, ensuring they run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with regulations and company policies, considering local specificities.
3. Coordinating the Internal Control campaign across the local hub.
4. Producing reports for various use cases.
5. Processing TA&A reports timely and with quality, following existing guidelines.
6. Supporting projects and clean-up activities.
7. Coordinating the ICS campaign for local TA&A.
8. Auditing reviews of the local hub.
9. Continuously reviewing the quality of controls.
10. Unifying the control framework.
11. Maintaining and improving the ICS framework through ongoing challenges.
12. Supporting TA&A and enhancing coordination across the globe on different control campaigns/process steps.
13. Contributing to other departmental challenges (data, process, system).
14. Coordinating internal and external audits.
15. Maintaining Sanction & Embargo and Tax calculation processes.
16. Producing reports related to regulator data calls.
17. Managing all operational local TA&A reports efficiently and effectively.
18. Developing and maintaining standard and ad hoc reports (BO and OMEGA).
19. Controlling report requests to prevent duplication.
20. Publishing, communicating, and sharing reports with other departments.
21. Developing standardized, user-friendly report layouts.
Experience
* Basic knowledge of reinsurance and single risk business processes.
* Strong statistical knowledge.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in (re-/insurance) accounting and/or controlling.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in reinsurance.
