Responsible for managing the global Gasoline Fuel Systems Product Engineering organization of approximately 80 employees engaged in research, design, testing and development activities. Reporting to the Vice President & Chief Technology Officer. Staff and manage the global Gasoline Fuel Systems Product Engineering organization. Determine direction and supports policy creation for staff. Strategically forecast work, resources, and tools. Responsible for developing employees and managers to increase the talent level for the company. Understand business item usage (budgets, ROI, margins, markets, customers, competitors, business forecasts, legal items, etc.) and participate in establishment of objectives, policies and company initiatives. Establish a vision and lead change across functional and location boundaries. Frequent and critical contact with external customers as well as internal interlocutors.
