What You’ll Do
* Lead and contribute across the full service design process – from ideation and discovery through to prototyping, testing, and delivery.
* Champion user‑centred and inclusive design practices, ensuring accessibility and usability are embedded throughout.
* Work collaboratively in agile, multidisciplinary teams alongside researchers, designers, product owners, and developers.
* Create service design artefacts such as user journeys, blueprints, personas, and service concepts that communicate complex ideas clearly.
* Facilitate workshops, design sprints and co‑creation sessions with clients and users to shape and refine service experiences.
* Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within existing services.
* Contribute to internal initiatives, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing across the design community.
What You’ll Bring
* Strong understanding of user‑centred design, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
* Familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and applying GDS design principles.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
* A curious, analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex problems.
* Eligibility for SC (Security Check) clearance – UK resident for the past 5 years with no extended absences.
