About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team in Redhill. Operating on a 3-days, 3-nights, and 3-off schedule, this role offers a balanced work-life arrangement. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises. Your keen attention to detail and ability to remain alert during both day and night shifts are crucial for the role. Job Opportunity
Your responsibilities will include:
* Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors.
* Making and editing spreadsheets
* Running reports
* Use PAC system and make access cards
* Patrolling three floors
* Reception duties
* Meet and greet staff, visitors and contractors.
* Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
* Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV.
* Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices.
* Remain 100% alert and vigilant at all times to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening behaviour.
Essential Skills
Essentials:
* SIA Licence
* Driving License
* Access to vehicle/good transport links
* The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
* Good IT skill
* Customer service skill
* High level of spoken and written English
* Able to problem solve
* Able to patrol 3 floors
