The Role:
The role involves supporting SMC products and assisting in applications where they are used. Technical questions come via phone, email, and internal systems from both internal and external customers. The product range includes pneumatics, electric drives, serial interfaces, and chillers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support via phone, email, Teams calls, and webinars
* Continuously develop your skills and knowledge in the industry
* Support and train internal departments
* Conduct showroom tours for customers
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience
* Methodical problem-solving skills, organized, with clear record-keeping
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams
* Technical knowledge with some sales understanding is a plus
* Enthusiasm for energy-saving initiatives and sustainability
