We are pre-seed and moving fast, and we are looking for people who want to get in early and help shape the product from the ground up.
We are a remote-first team. This role is open to candidates based in North America, the UK, South Korea, Japan, or Singapore.
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on compliance and audit specialist to join us as a founding contributor on a sweat equity basis. This is not a management or advisory role. We want someone who has actually been in the room during audits, understands what auditors look for, and can bring that ground-level knowledge directly into our product.
This role is fully flexible. It can be taken on fractionally and structured around other work or family commitments.
You will work closely with the founding team to make sure TengriSys reflects how compliance and audits actually work in practice, not just in theory.
What You Will Do
* Upload and structure the official control frameworks for the major compliance standards we support, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and GDPR
* Define common scoping rules and the key information that should be gathered at the start of an engagement for each framework
* Review and give honest feedback on our platform flows and features from the perspective of someone who has worked real audits
* Flag gaps between how our product works and how compliance work actually happens on the ground
* Help us build out content and logic that makes TengriSys genuinely useful for audit preparation
* Contribute to thought leadership by sharing insights into compliance challenges and the problems TengriSys is solving, through articles and posts on platforms like LinkedIn
What We Are Looking For
* Must be based in and eligible to work in North America, the UK, South Korea, Japan, or Singapore
* Fluent English to a very high standard, both written and spoken
* Hands-on experience with one or more of the major compliance frameworks listed above, whether as an auditor, compliance analyst, or in an in-house GRC role
* Someone who has been involved in actual audit engagements, not just written policies
* Experience working in external audit, for example at an audit firm or as part of an engagement team delivering audits for clients, is highly desirable
* A practical, contributor mindset: you are comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting into the detail
* Clear and direct communicator who can translate compliance nuance into product feedback
* Bonus: familiarity with how SaaS or B2B tech companies approach compliance

Compensation
