As we expand, we’re looking for a Buyer who can drive strategic sourcing and purchasing excellence across our global footprint.
This role will be pivotal in shaping and executing a consistent, value-driven procurement strategy that maximises cost efficiency, strengthens supplier relationships, and supports our operational and financial goals. The individual will support end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring documentation, supplier evaluation, and vendor onboarding processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with internal procedures. This role collaborates closely with budget holders, procurers, and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the Vendor onboarding and review processes with specific emphasis on reducing risk and ensuring compliance with Environmental, Social, and Governance obligations.
* Ensure the viability and suitability of all new Vendors in line with Procurement policy and process
* Research Potential new suppliers as required. Undertake preliminary suitability investigations.
* Define Requirements for bid negotiations, working collaborate with budget holders to establish clear performance specifications.
* Issue bid invitations and ensure alignment with project timelines.
* Coordinate bid reviews with evaluators and adjudicators.
* Summarise evaluations for final decision-making and provide feedback to all bidders.
* Work with procurement and legal teams to prepare contracts for execution.
* Support with contract implementation and mobilisation and ensure smooth handover to operational teams.
Job Specification / Function / Professional Competencies
* CIPS Level 4 or relevant degree or appropriate work experience
* Self-starter with a proactive and independent work ethic
* Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Analytical and solution-oriented approach to problem solving
* Excellent administrative skills, including organisation and accounting proficiency
Experience and Knowledge
Essential:
* Experience of working in Procurement, Buying, Accounts Payable in a similar organisation or industry
* Experience of successfully delivering efficiencies
* Ability to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders and build great working relationships
* Self-disciplined with ability to work independently
* Energetic and driven with a real hands on approach to the job
* Contract, bidding and negotiating experience
* Experience of using Finance Systems such as NetSuite
