Net-Zero Renewables is a fast-growing renewables company operating in the ECO4 sector. We specialise in delivering energy efficiency upgrades to homes across the UK, including solar PV installations, high heat retention storage heaters, extractor fans, and a wide range of insulation measures. With ambitious growth plans and a strong pipeline of projects, we are looking for an experienced and driven Electrical Manager to join our team.
The Role
As Electrical Manager, you will play a key role in orchestrating the delivery of our electrical installations, ensuring that projects run smoothly, safely, and on time. You will be responsible for overseeing material deliveries, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also liaise daily with management and directors, providing updates on project progress, addressing challenges, and contributing to the continued success and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the electrical aspects of ECO4 projects, including solar PV, storage heaters, and extractor fan installations.
* Orchestrate and coordinate material deliveries to ensure projects are fully equipped and on schedule.
* Manage and support electrical teams and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of work and compliance.
* Monitor project delivery, resolving issues quickly to minimise delays.
* Liaise daily with management and directors, providing progress updates and reporting on key metrics.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, NICEIC standards, and ECO4 scheme requirements.
* Contribute to process improvements and efficiency within the installations department.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as an Electrical Manager, Supervisor, or similar role in the renewables or construction sector.
* Strong knowledge of solar PV, electrical heating systems, and extractor fan installations.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
* Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach.
* Familiarity with ECO4 projects and compliance requirements (desirable).
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, with 18th Edition qualification.
* City & Guilds inspection and testing
