Job Description
You will be responsible for:
* Coordinating the team to deliver a positive shopping experience for the community.
* Managing store opening and closing, ensuring safety and decision-making are appropriate.
* Serving as the point of contact for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager.
* Supporting store events and maintaining a welcoming environment.
* Ensuring the store is clean, tidy, and well-presented.
* Prioritizing product replenishment based on customer needs.
* Maintaining accurate point of sale and shelf labels.
* Addressing overcharges promptly and preventing recurrence.
* Managing queues proactively for a smooth shopping trip.
* Coordinating colleagues' tasks and breaks to optimize trade patterns.
* Implementing store improvements and following health and safety routines.
* Communicating effectively with the team and sharing operational ideas.
* Focusing on customer-first service, resolving queries, and recognizing excellent service.
* Ensuring adequate staffing and managing store security as a Keyholder.
* Monitoring internal communications and addressing issues timely.
* Supporting store operations and escalating issues as needed.
* Balancing service and replenishment tasks.
* Supporting absence management and staff well-being initiatives.
* Building relationships with management and colleagues to ensure effective communication and support.
