Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Filey, North Yorkshire
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP / January 2026
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Psychology Graduate for a specialist SEN setting in Filey. This role is excellent preparation for careers in clinical psychology, SEN teaching or therapeutic support.

Responsibilities
* Support learners with emotional and behavioural needs
* Implement strategies such as de-escalation, task-chunking and sensory regulation
* Assist teachers with assessment, planning and intervention
* Encourage pupils to build self-esteem and independence
* Communicate effectively with staff and parents
Requirements
* Psychology degree (or closely related field)
* Interest in SEN, behaviour or developmental needs
* Empathy, resilience and strong communication
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
