A welcoming Junior School in the NG15 postcode area is seeking a committed Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team, starting as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Year 6 with their learning, helping them prepare for transition to secondary school while providing targeted academic and pastoral support.
The Role:
* Year 6 Teaching Assistant
* Based at a Junior School in NG15
* Start ASAP
* Supporting Year 6 pupils in class and in small groups
* Assisting with core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science
* Providing 1:1 support where needed
* Supporting pupils' social and emotional development
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience supporting upper key stage 2 pupils
* A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach
* Confidence in supporting English and Maths learning
* Ability to engage and motivate children in Year 6
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
