The Role Full-time, long-term opportunity following a successful trial Monday–Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Support pupils in the classroom and during daily activities Help students build confidence, communication, and independence Work closely with teachers and specialist staff Gain practical experience supporting children with additional needs Develop transferable skills highly valued in psychology and education careers This Role Would Suit You If You: Are a recent or upcoming graduate in Psychology, Education, or a related field Want to gain school-based experience before further study or teacher training Have an interest in SEND, mental health, child development, or behaviour support Are compassionate, patient, and adaptable Enjoy building positive relationships with children and young people Are willing to learn safeguarding and behaviour-support strategies Hold an Enhanced DBS or are willing to obtain one Previous experience is helpful but not essential — enthusiasm, empathy, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
