Senior Quantity Surveyor Infrastructure Normanton or Warrington Up to £72,000 plus company package The Opportunity Kenton Black is working with a leading principal contractor in the infrastructure sector who is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of local authority projects across the North West and Yorkshire regions. This is a key position within a growing infrastructure division, offering the opportunity to take ownership of commercial performance across a range of civil engineering schemes while working closely with clients and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture across projects Prepare and negotiate subcontract documentation, including terms, pricing, and programmes Manage subcontract packages, including interim valuations and change management Issue contractual notices to clients and subcontractors in line with contract requirements Manage and assess change events, including compensation event quotations Produce, submit, and agree monthly applications in accordance with contract terms Work closely with operational and engineering teams to maintain accurate site records Produce detailed monthly reporting, including Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) Maintain and manage cost plans, including tracking and forecasting project expenditure About You Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial systems (e.g. CEMAR, Oracle or similar) Relevant degree or equivalent commercial experience Experience delivering large infrastructure schemes or multiple smaller projects Valid CSCS card Strong organisational and time management skills Professional membership (MCIOB, MRICS) or working towards this (desirable) The Client Our client is a well-established and highly regarded contractor within the UK infrastructure market, with a strong pipeline of secured work across regional frameworks and local authority projects.
