Right now, we are looking for a Lived Experience Co-Facilitator - Pool Worker to play a pivotal role in our Innovation Team in London.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
You will deliver high-quality modern slavery training to individuals from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds on a bimonthly basis within core working hours. Using your specialist knowledge of the modern slavery sector, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the National Referral Mechanism, you will ensure training content is accurate, engaging, and reflects emerging issues and best practice. You will represent Hestia externally by building strong relationships with corporate partners, funders, and organisations purchasing training, while ensuring the voices and lived experiences of survivors of exploitation are central to all training sessions. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, recognising the limits of your own expertise and referring appropriately when needed.

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
Here's what the team will be looking for
We are looking for someone with lived experience of modern slavery who is able to commit to a 10-month contract. Applicants must not be a current client of Hestia (with no live case open across our services) and must have the right to work in the UK. You will need to have a bank account, or be able to provide ID and a permanent address with a willingness to be supported to open one. A DBS check is required for this role, and support will be provided throughout the process.
When will I be working?
This role is advertised as a pool position, meaning there is an expected average of approximately five hours of work per month. Hours may vary from month to month, and there is no guaranteed minimum number of hours.
