Start Date: January 2026 – July 2026 (possibility of extension)
⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £90 per day

The Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work closely with teachers to support students with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and social, emotional and behavioural challenges
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to ensure all learners can thrive.
* Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Gain valuable classroom experience to support your future career in teaching, youth work, or psychology.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need previous school experience — we welcome people from all backgrounds who have supported children, young people, or individuals with additional needs.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
* Transferable sector experience: Youth work or youth support work, Mental health support or wellbeing roles, Healthcare or care work, Coaching, mentoring, or community engagement
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence along wtih adaptability and problem-solving abilities
* A positive, proactive attitude
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (we can help you apply)
* EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration (we’ll assist with this too)
* Two recent references from relevant roles
