We are working with a well-established public sector organisation to appoint an experienced Organisational Development Partner with a strong background in Learning & Development. About the Role Reporting to the Manager of Learning, Development & Engagement, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering an innovative learning offering across the organisation. You will ensure colleagues at all levels have the skills and confidence needed to meet strategic priorities and deliver high-quality services. This is a varied, practical position covering every stage of the learning cycle - from identifying capability gaps and designing engaging solutions, to delivering programmes and reviewing their impact. Main Duties Drive the success of the organisation's internal Learning Academy, supporting both individual development and organisational performance. Create, deliver and assess learning initiatives such as apprenticeships, graduate pathways, internships and induction programmes. Work closely with managers and HR Business Partners to understand development needs and implement targeted learning interventions. Track training compliance, analyse L&D data and present recommendations for improvement. Oversee onboarding, induction processes and the development of career pathways. Manage apprenticeship schemes and liaise with external training partners. Contribute to wider wellbeing, engagement and cultural initiatives across HR. Support enhancements to learning platforms, communications and service delivery. Provide cover for the Learning, Development & Engagement Manager when required. About You You will bring energy, creativity and a genuine commitment to developing others. Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, you will have a track record of delivering impactful L&D solutions and driving continuous improvement. Essential Criteria Degree at Level 6 in HR or a business-related field plus at least 2 years' L&D experience, or 4 years' recent L&D experience. Experience conducting training needs analysis and designing, delivering and evaluating development programmes. Evidence of improving services or processes within an HR or L&D setting. Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). Full driving licence and access to transport (reasonable adjustments provided where necessary). Desirable CIPD Associate membership or above. Personal Qualities Excellent communicator with confident presentation skills. Highly organised, detail-orientated and able to juggle multiple priorities. Customer-focused, proactive and solution-driven. Strong awareness of current L&D practices and emerging trends.
