We're now looking for a Logistics Team Manager to lead this excellent group.
The Opportunity

We're looking for someone special. Ambitious, capable, and hungry for success, with the skills and presence to lead a fast-paced logistics department. Our customers always come first, and we never settle for an easy win at the cost of service excellence.
This role is to lead and develop the Logistics Team, reporting into the General Manager and acting as deputy when required. You'll oversee the day-to-day operation, ensure the smooth running of the department, and drive improvements that keep our service world-class.
The Person
You will almost certainly have:
- A strong background in logistics/transport operations, ideally same-day courier or time-critical services.
- Proven leadership experience — coaching, developing, and getting the best out of your team.
- The confidence to deputise for senior management, taking decisions and leading when required.
- Superb organisational skills, juggling competing priorities without dropping the ball.
- A calm but authoritative presence, respected by staff and drivers alike.
- The ability to balance commercial awareness with client-first service.
- Strong IT confidence (TMS, CRM, Excel, Outlook).
And as a person:
- You thrive in a fast-paced SME environment where every day is different.
- You're ambitious and determined, but also grounded, with a steady attitude under pressure.
- You'll be comfortable on the on-call rota (just one week in four or five, with a £150 reward).
