The Role:

The Facilities Management (FM) team provides support to over 100 buildings, ranging from fully FM managed buildings to drop-in sites throughout the County of Hampshire.
Confident and dependable, you will have some experience in a similar role. You will be able to work efficiently as part of a team and demonstrate real commitment to customer service. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to deal with a wide range of situations in a positive and professional manner.
What you’ll do:
As part of this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, whether by phone, in writing or face to face. You’ll support facilities management by welcoming contractors, managing inductions, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. You’ll operate key safes, assist with furniture moves, and report any building damage or repairs.
Your duties will include using manual handling equipment, maintaining outdoor areas, and ensuring safe access during adverse weather. You’ll be responsible for securing buildings, managing alarms, and escorting visitors. You’ll monitor car parks, respond to various alarm activations, and assist with fire safety procedures including testing and evacuation support. Health and safety checks, fire marshal responsibilities, and first aid provision are also part of the role. Additionally, you’ll handle waste collection and provide logistical support for meetings and events.
