Tasked daily with close and detailed electrical and instrument inspections on 18,000 items across the DSM pharmaceutical plant in Dalry. Remedial work carried out on damaged equipment and replacing of equipment in extreme cases. Preparation work for shutdowns, eg line walks and gathering required drawings for detailed inspections. Implementing and supporting effective working practices and systems as required to continuously improve service delivery. Ensuring quality assurance of all work scopes are maintained, and all work is performed in accordance with company policies and the Health and Safety at work act. Working flexibly to accommodate the changing needs of the business; working long hours and taking on additional responsibility. Dealing efficiently and on own initiative with a high-volume workload. Complying with all relevant procedures and deliver high standards of safety performance during all operations
