Key Responsibilities Lead, plan and manage medical device development projects in line with ISO 13485 Oversee project costings, proposals, budgets, timeframes and risk management Act as technical lead across complex engineering programmes Build and manage long-term strategic relationships with medical and scientific clients Lead multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, design, electronics and software engineers Support marketing initiatives through writing articles, presenting at industry events and attending conferences (UK & International) Create detailed proposals and pitch to prospective clients within the medical sector Guide and review engineering work from within your team, ensuring quality and compliance Deliver innovative solutions to complex design and engineering problems Work closely with internal design and technical teams to create market-leading medical productsEssential Skills & Experience Strong experience delivering medical product development within an ISO 13485 quality framework Background in consultancy, medical device engineering, or product design/development Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Design Engineering or similar technical discipline Proven track record managing complex, multi-disciplinary medical device projects Experience with CAD/CAE tools, engineering analysis, materials and high-volume manufacturing processes (e.g., injection moulding) Exceptional communication skills, including client-facing presentations and proposal development Ability to guide engineers, ensure quality, and drive project success A proactive, hands-on mindset with strong commercial awareness Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to work on-site in WarwickWhy This Role Stands Out Lead pioneering medical and scientific product development projects Work with innovative global medical brands See your work progress from concept and feasibility through to market launch Influence strategy, client relationships and sector growth Steer world-class multidisciplinary teams Opportunity to shape novel medical IP, usability improvements and cost‑effective solutions Fast-paced consultancy environment with genuine career progression
