Are you an experience Pharmacy Technician with a passion for innovation who thrives in a dynamic environment and prioritises safety and efficiency? Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is looking for a proactive and passionate Advanced Pharmacy Technician - Stores to lead the delivery of the stores and distribution services across both the City and Queens Medical Centre campuses. You'll play a key role in shaping how we deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred pharmacy services while helping drive quality improvements that impact thousands of patients.
Responsibilities
* Leadership & Impact: Lead, manage and develop large-scale pharmacy services, influencing strategy and operational performance at one of the largest acute teaching trusts in England.
* Innovation & Improvement: Drive service transformation through audits, risk management, incident reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Collaboration at its Core: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams and pharmacy teams to deliver high-performing services.
* People-Focused: Inspire and manage a team of Chief and Lead Pharmacy Technicians, support professional development, and promote a positive, team-driven culture.
* Operational Expertise: Oversee day-to-day activities in our pharmacy stores, ensuring compliance with legislation, GDP, and national standards.
* A proven leader - confident in managing teams, line management responsibilities, and developing services.
* Experienced in risk and performance management, audits, incident reporting, and ensuring compliance with medicines legislation and GDP.
* A collaborative communicator who can influence, support and build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
* A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Organised, adaptable and proactive, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Driven by quality and improvement, passionate about providing safe, effective, and patient-centred services.
