This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers and early career teachers alike to make a difference in the lives of young learners while developing their professional skills. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 depending on your experience.
Teacher of Science Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and KS5
Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support when needed
Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Manage behaviour in the classroom effectively and professionally
Work collaboratively with other staff members and school leadership teams
Encourage curiosity and a love for science in students of all abilities
Science Teacher Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
Experience working as a Science Teacher across UK schools.
Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach up to GCSE (A-Level desirable)
Excellent classroom management skills
Passion for science education and a commitment to student progress
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
