This role will cover Yorkshire, Humber, and the North East Region of the UK.
Please note this role requires the successful candidate to live in the territory and have the right to work in the UK. Visa or relocation support are not available for this role.
About the role
The purpose of this secondary care role is to achieve sales targets and promote Dermatology products to healthcare professionals and payors in the North East of England.
This is a great opportunity to work with one of Novartis’ biggest and most successful brands. You will be joining a high-performing team, both regionally and cross-functionally, including the Immunology team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop and grow your career within the Novartis family. It involves promoting one of Novartis’ biggest brands in Dermatology, which positively impacts patients suffering from psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa.
About the Role
* Job responsibilities:
* Develop business plans and implement activities like customer events, sales & marketing campaigns, and sales presentations to achieve objectives.
* Achieve sales, productivity, and performance targets within budgets and timelines.
* Support Key Account networks and market access, including referral networks.
* Gain in-depth understanding of Dermatology and related products.
* Maintain knowledge of products, strategy, messaging, company developments, customers, and competitors.
* Achieve contact, coverage, and frequency targets through various communication channels.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and build strong customer relationships.
* Contribute to the Sales and Marketing team through collaboration and teamwork.
* Provide input on promotional funds and sales forecasting.
Essential requirements:
* Degree or equivalent, ideally in a science.
* Experience in a UK Pharmaceutical Company in a Dermatology sales role.
* Strong communication and selling skills.
* Customer-focused approach.
* Proven success in cross-functional collaboration.
* Understanding of the UK healthcare system.
* Full UK driving license.
Desirable requirements:
* Specialist knowledge from Dermatology sales.
* Existing network of contacts in the territory.
