Job Description
Reporting to the CEO, we are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join the Beauty Bay team. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future success of our beauty brands, including BEAUTY BAY and our new in-house brand.
Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and executing both short and long-term commercial strategies to grow the brands, increase sales, and improve profitability through innovative go-to-market plans.
2. Serving as the commercial link between NPD and marketing teams.
3. Gaining in-depth customer insights to understand market trends and preferences, and developing propositions that foster brand loyalty.
4. Creating clear launch plans and collaborating with internal teams to ensure their success in customer experience and sales.
5. Analyzing post-launch performance of propositions and adjusting strategies to meet KPIs such as customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
6. Working with marketing to maximize campaign performance for promotions and new product launches.
7. Coordinating with Merchandising to manage stock effectively, reducing overstocks and slow-moving inventory.
About you:
* Passion for beauty and experience in the beauty or personal care industry.
* Experience in proposition development, product management, or similar roles within retail.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Solid commercial acumen and analytical skills to derive insights and develop innovative market strategies.
* Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven track record of delivering outstanding business results.
* Motivated, adaptable, resilient, and thrives in dynamic retail environments.
