Job Overview:
We are seeking 2 x experienced Excavator Operatives to join an upcoming project in Camberley. This is a long-term opportunity, with a start date of 13th October, offering consistent work for approximately 6 months. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience operating excavators both above and below 10 tonnes and demonstrate expertise in deep excavation, trenching, and lifting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate excavators above and below 10t safely and efficiently in a high-risk environment.
Excavate and install trench boxes, sheets, and frames at depths ranging from 3m to 6m.
Carry out lifting operations in accordance with safety regulations.
Maintain and inspect equipment daily to ensure operational safety and compliance.
Work closely with groundworkers and other site operatives to ensure safe and effective trench support installations.
Adhere strictly to health and safety standards, site rules, and project-specific guidelines.
Assist with general groundwork duties as required.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience operating excavators in a construction or civil engineering environment.
* Proven experience in deep excavation work, particularly installing trench boxes, sheets, and frames.
* ValidCPCS or NPORS (CSCS) covering:
* Excavator above and below 10t
* Lifting Operations Endorsement
* Strong understanding of site safety and method statements for trench support and excavation.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing site requirements and tasks.
Pre-Site Vetting:
Successful candidates will need to undergo a detailed vetting process to gain access to the site. This will include providing relevant documentation and completing necessary security checks.
