Personal Assistant for a disabled young man at university - £12.78/hr in Edinburgh
Personal Assistant is required for a 25 year-old young man currently residing in Newington. I'm currently doing a Masters and looking for some help to be able to keep my independence.
Pay rates weekday - £12.21 per hour
Hours: 5-10 hours per week (opportunities for extra hours available each month!).
Shifts required - Monday to Sunday (rotated schedule, typically 1-2 days a week with shifts of 4-6 hours each).
Additional support required: 2 hours of floating support to access the community or event that I would like to attend.
Type of support required
* Food preparation; batch cooking for meals throughout the week; e.g. veggie chilli, stir fry, burritos or trying new recipes from YouTube! (prior knowledge of veggie diet would be ideal but not necessary).
* Household chores; e.g. hoovering, bathroom cleaning, laundry.
* Also, time to simply hang out and go out; walks, shopping, museums or art galleries! Want to be able to get along well with my PA :)
* Flexibility is essential.
