A warm and friendly primary school in Biggleswade is looking for a passionate Little Learners Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team ASAP. The role will run until 19th December 2025, with the hope of extending into the new year or even offering a permanent position for the right candidate.
This is a brilliant chance to support children’s first steps in learning and help them thrive in a fun and caring environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide in-class support across Early Years settings
* Deliver focused support to small groups and individual pupils
* Assist in creating engaging activities and resources
* Foster confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
* Collaborate closely with the teaching team to support each child’s development
* Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom
Requirements
* Experience in Early Years or nursery education
* Enthusiastic, patient, and supportive approach
* Team player with excellent communication skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and children’s welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
