Supported Housing Officer
£14.50 per hour | 36.5 hours per week (Temp Contract for min 3 months) | Mon-Fri | Alveston, South Gloucestershire
Make a real impact by supporting vulnerable adults at risk of homelessness to build confidence, develop life skills, and move towards independent living.
The Role
You'll provide psychologically informed, person-centred support to a caseload of 12 residents (aged 18-65) within an 18-bed supported housing service.
Your support will help residents sustain their tenancy, access essential services, and progress into long-term housing.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored 1-to-1 support
* Work closely with external agencies
* Maintain accurate case notes and support plans
* Safeguard vulnerable adults in line with procedures
* Promote equality, inclusion and resident empowerment
* Contribute to service improvement and positive change
What You'll Bring
* Experience supporting vulnerable adults in supported housing
* Understanding of homelessness, safeguarding and PIE approaches
* Strong communication, engagement and advocacy skills
* Confidence managing a varied caseload and good IT literacy
