Gap Personnel who are operating as an employment business are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Supply Chain Administrator for a company based in Knowsley Business Park area.
The position is ongoing on a temp to perm basis for suitable candidates.

Job Purpose:
The Supply Chain Administrator will support the smooth running of the supply chain function by coordinating purchase orders, monitoring stock levels, liaising with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring data accuracy across systems. The role is key to maintaining efficient operations and supporting customer and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
•Process and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely approvals.
•Monitor stock levels, report variances, and support inventory planning activities.
•Liaise with suppliers to confirm order status, resolve discrepancies, and manage delivery schedules.
•Update and maintain supply chain data in ERP/stock management systems.
•Support demand planning and forecasting activities by providing accurate data and reports.
•Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
•Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
Skills & Competencies:
•Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
•Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
•Proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach.
•Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems desirable.
Experience & Qualifications:
•Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or administrative role preferred.
