This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, refining and developing the models, templates, and reports that shape decision-making across the organisation. You’ll play a key part in ensuring financial information is accurate, accessible, and meaningful, helping colleagues at all levels to make confident, informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Improve and maintain financial models, reporting templates, and dashboards to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs.
2. Refine and enhance processes across the business partnering team, identifying opportunities to streamline and add value.
3. Support forecasting, budgeting, and month-end processes by ensuring robust, user-friendly tools are in place.
4. Produce and present clear financial reports and updates for senior leadership and governance committees.
5. Collaborate with finance and non-finance colleagues to ensure reporting meets stakeholder needs.
6. Support and mentor two assistant accountants, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Person Specification
7. Part-qualified or actively studying accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with strong technical and process improvement skills.
8. Advanced Excel user, with proven ability to design and adapt models, templates, and reports.
9. Clear communicator, able to present complex information in a simple and accessible way.
10. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
11. A proactive team player, eager to share knowledge and support colleagues’ development.
