We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Technology Process Engineer in our Technology Resilience & Control team within Technical Service Operations.
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Based in Wythall, Telford, London, or Edinburgh, with a mix of office and home working.

Salary and benefits: £46,900 - £60,000 plus 16% bonus (up to 32%), private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, volunteering days, and more.

The role
The Technology Process Engineer oversees the design, implementation, and optimization of IT processes supporting our technology systems and services. The focus is on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and quality through process innovation, standardization, continuous improvement, and ITSM toolset integration. Collaboration with stakeholders to implement ITSM, governance, and management frameworks is essential.
Key Accountabilities
1. Process Design & Optimization: Lead the design, documentation, and deployment of IT processes to enhance service delivery and system performance.
2. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine IT processes, identify bottlenecks, and apply best practices aligned with ITIL to meet business and customer needs.
3. Technology Integration: Ensure IT processes are integrated with current technologies like automation, cloud, and enterprise software.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting: Use analytics to monitor process effectiveness, identify improvements, and report KPIs to leadership.
5. Standards & Governance: Establish and enforce standards and policies for IT processes to ensure compliance and best practices.
6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT processes to prevent operational disruptions.
What are we looking for?
* Understanding of IT frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, Six Sigma, Agile).
* Experience in process modeling, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement.
* Proven background in process engineering, IT operations, or IT service management.
* Knowledge of IT systems, SDLC, and infrastructure management.
* Ability to manage change and operate in complex, cross-functional environments.
