The Prep School is an integral part of the College, benefitting from the world class facilities and teaching that the College has; it also has its own buildings, playground, and outdoor creative classroom.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Seaford Prep as a Teaching Assistant. A rewarding role supporting our teachers and students. assisting Reception to Year 4 classes. The role will also involve training and responsibility to look after a Year 2 child with type 1 diabetes for just over one quarter of the time on a one-to-one basis
You are patient, approachable and flexible, with a calm, proactive, and well organised work manner. You are energetic and work well as a team player adapting where necessary. An excellent communicator at all levels. Although the role does not require qualifications, a level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience would be advantageous. A first aid qualification or experience is desirable but not essential.
