Revenue Assurance Officer - Cashiers

The Finance Cashier will ensure payments from Private Medical Insurance Companies, Foreign Embassies, Client and Self Pay patients are allocated across the group wide bank accounts.
The post holder will be following processes to efficiently and accurately process large payment values and volumes of cash receipts into Meditech as well as being able to identify unknown cash receipts and missing payments not allocated to accounts. This role has specific monthly targets to meet for cash receipts and keeping un-identified cash receipts to the bare minimum.
You will report to the Revenue Assurance Team Leader and working as part of a team. You will have a shared responsibility for facilitating a seamless patient journey and reaching monthly departmental KPI’s.

What you'll do:
1. Working to ensure all cash receipts are allocated into the system in a timely manner in line with department KPIs
2. Ensure remittances are worked accurately to identify any short-paid balances so they are correctly dropped to patient liability
3. Process EDPQ daily download and other payment allocation processes which include bacs and cheques
4. Implementation of ongoing process to review accounts with credit balances as a result of overpayments or duplication
5. Continuous improvement of tokenization process towards automation
6. Meditech cash allocation value analysis versus bank statements to ensure strict controls are adhered to so every bank credit is accounted for towards monthly cash targets.
7. Contribution to the monthly reporting and departmental targets
