About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Property and Building Practice Manager to join our client, a Local Authority based in the South West. As the Property and Building Practice Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing diverse facilities management and property functions including Hard and Soft FM, Asset Delivery, Property Development, and Commercial Estate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide confident leadership and clear management to ensure the successful delivery of key objectives
2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation to ensure services remain safe and compliant
3. Ensure services are delivered to relevant industry standards and statutory compliance
4. Build and maintain positive working relationships with contractors
5. Establish monitoring processes, performance indicators, and risk measures to assess the effectiveness of services and contracts
6. Ensure timely and compliant service reporting across multiple platforms
7. Be responsive to internal and external factors affecting services
8. Effectively communicate with team members to enhance engagement and motivation
Job Requirements:
9. Significant experience in Asset Management
10. Strong understanding of facilities management and property functions
11. Familiarity with relevant legislation and industry standards
12. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
13. Hybrid working model for improved work-life balance
14. £400-600 per day
