The school at present supports 75+ children with varying and complex needs. The vast majority of students in attendance have Autism or an associated condition. This specialist school is currently seeking an Individual Needs Assistant to support in both their primary and secondary divisions. As an INA you would be responsible for working and supporting learners on a 1:1 and whole class basis both with their education and general development. Such developmental support will include social interactions, building relationships and supporting life skills. This school is committed to making Fun, flexible learning for all.

Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
Relevant teaching Assistant and SEN experience (Must be able to provide references)
Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
Working with the teacher to support the learning objectives
This role is open to receiving applications over the next week. Within a week of the closing date, appropriate applicants will begin a three-stage interview process, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the final stage of the interview process with appropriate school leadership.
