Job overview
The Community Care Collaborator Digital Integration Lead is a key member of the Community Care Collaborative Delivery Team, they will provide operational delivery, and strategic planning, on the digital integration agenda within the Community Care Collaborative digital agenda. The post holder will play a pivotal role in the strategic digital planning, scoping, design, and delivery of multiple projects across the Community Care Collaborative programme.
The post holder will work as part of the wider BCHC Community Care Collaborative and DTS team and will be responsible for the coordination of Community Care Collaborative Digital programme and for facilitating a progressive integration approach to deliver system-wide transformation which is underpinned by a robust digital framework. This will include ensuring effective system-wide engagement with a range of key stakeholders, including specific programme leads, digital and informatics colleagues, to enable the Community Care Collaborative programme.
The post holder will be a subject matter expert ensuring that support and advice is always available to the Associate Director of Transformation on issues regarding Digital & Informatic Community Integration. This will require highly effective analysis and interpretation of a wide variety of data and guidelines to recommend and make judgments on service development, integration and transformation across Birmingham and Solihull.
Main duties of the job
· To provide expertise and leadership for digital integration within the Community Care Collaborative Programme. The postholder will report professionally to the BCHC Director of ICT and Programmes, ensuring that there is clear synergy between the Community Care Collaborative digital agenda and BCHC’s.
· The post holder will ensure digital solutions required to deliver more cohesive and integrated services across the Community are embedded within the BCHC digital workplan, reporting progress to the Director of ICT.
· To provide strong visible, inclusive, and compassionate leadership across the Community Care Collaborative.
· To develop complex digital infrastructure and tactical solutions which enable Service leads to constantly review and improve the service(s), considering local and national guidelines throughout the Community Care Collaborative transformation agenda.
· To ensure that the Community Care Collaborative priorities are aligned with the BCHC digital plan
· To work within specific budgets in developing and implementing digital and informatic solutions to support integration across Community and Primary Care services within Birmingham and Solihull.
· The role will have to liaise with the Head of DTS Infrastructure to ensure the support is there for the network and associated hardware requirements.. liaise with Head of DTS System for software and support
