Rikshaw is an authentic South Indian restaurant and bar in Gipsy Hill, known for serving traditional dishes in a modern, lively space. We’re loved for our food and service - now we’re ready to scale.
We’re looking for a strong, independent Restaurant Manager who can help us level up: increase footfall, streamline day-to-day operations, and drive real sales growth.
Who We’re Looking For
This is not a training role. We need someone who has already built up restaurants and knows what it takes to grow one.
You should be confident taking charge while keeping ownership in the loop. Creativity, strategy, leadership - you’ll need all three.
What You’ll Lead
* Develop and execute strategies to boost footfall and strengthen repeat customer base
* Lead upselling and local marketing initiatives to grow revenue and visibility
* Oversee kitchen & service operations to ensure accuracy, speed, and consistency
* Work with (or manage) the social media manager to keep branding aligned
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and customer service
* Build strong relationships with locals, suppliers, and delivery partners
* Create systems and checklists that keep operations smooth and staff accountable
* Manage stock control, staffing, rotas, and waste reduction
* Provide regular performance and financial updates to ownership
What You’ll Bring
* 3–5+ years of Restaurant Manager experience in the UK
* Proven track record of improving operations and growing revenue
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to run the floor independently with minimal supervision
* Experience with marketing and/or social media (preferred)
* Organised, reliable, and business-minded
* Full right to work in the UK
