This includes helping to develop and execute test plans, as well as supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to make sure deliverables align with user needs and regulatory compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Acting as a central communicator, the analyst will bridge scientific users, IT, and vendors to maintain transparent, ongoing project communication. They will organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings, collect feedback, and drive consensus and alignment across all involved parties.
Documentation & Training:
Comprehensive documentation will be produced by the analyst, covering user stories, process diagrams, standard operating procedures, and training content. They will also take part in training activities and change management to enable smooth user adoption and proficient use of new systems.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field is required. Supplementary qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Analysis are highly valued.
* Experience: Minimum five years as a Business Analyst, with at least three years in pharmaceutical research environments. Hands-on experience selecting and deploying systems such as ELN, SDMS, IMS, or research databases is mandatory. Knowledge of FAIR data principles and practical IT applications in drug discovery is expected.
* Skills: Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in stakeholder management. Experience with business analysis techniques is essential, as is collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams spanning the US and EU.
