Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) Location: Stanstead Abbotts Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 DOE Company Vehicle / Allowance Benefits About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) to oversee and support our EICR testing and remedial programmes across social housing contracts. The successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and fully compliant with BS7671 and NICEIC standards. You will play a key role in supervising field teams, carrying out audits, and maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and sign off EICR testing, remedial, and upgrade works across social housing portfolios. * Conduct sample inspections and audits to ensure compliance with NICEIC, BS7671, and internal standards. * Provide technical support, mentoring, and guidance to electricians and testing teams. * Maintain accurate records, certification, and test documentation. * Promote best practice in health, safety, and electrical compliance. * Liaise effectively with clients, residents, and internal teams to support contract delivery. * Support continuous improvement by identifying process and compliance enhancements. Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience as an Electrical Qualified Supervisor, Lead Electrician, or Testing & Inspection Engineer within social housing or a similar environment. * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation. * NICEIC Qualifed Supervisor * 18th Edition qualified. * 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent) is essential. * Strong understanding of BS7671, NICEIC requirements, and relevant health & safety regulations. * Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a focus on quality and compliance.
