The Role: Outdoor Education Co-ordinator - Emsworth
We're looking for an Outdoor Education Co-ordinator to:
• Mentor and support outdoor education tutors
• Oversee and maintain equipment for adventurous activities
• Ensure activities are safe, inclusive, and engaging
• Provide feedback and guidance to foster professional growth
• Model best practice in session delivery
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of outdoor activities
• Maintain and develop equipment in line with National Governing Body standards
• Track and ensure equipment is safe and suitable
• Plan an equipment replacement programme tailored to student needs
• Enable students to progress towards NGB qualifications
• Deliver group and one-to-one sessions
• Maintain personal competency in water-based activities
• Expand the breadth and depth of RP's activities
• Ensure compliance with HSE inspections (e.g., AALS, RYA)
Equipment areas include
: Boards & Paddles | Sails | Wheels | Climbing | Archery | Navigation | Outdoor Living
Application Criteria
• Senior instructor qualification in at least one land or water-based activity (Paddlesport, Dinghy, RYA, WGL, CWI, MIAS)
• Valid Outdoor First Aid Certificate
• Full, valid driver's license
