Due to continued growth, we have a new opportunity to join our team at Canterbury Cathedral as a Business Development Manager.
This role will work with the Head of Estates and Fabric to develop the potential for our heritage skills experts to take on more income-generating external work including external contracts and private commissions. The role is wide ranging and will include reviewing and developing policies and procedures to leading and managing tender submissions for new contracts and providing administrative support including managing contracts and acting as the main contact for clients, site managers and contractors.
This is a new role, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to shape and influence our approach through your expertise and experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position, with a proven track record of writing tenders and managing end to end proposals, growing business markets and will possess the ability to work to tight deadlines.
