Graduate Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal
Join IVC Evidensia UK as a Graduate Veterinary Surgeon in Small Animal practice, based at Gateshead with possible work at other sites.
Overview
You will be part of a supportive team of 15 Vets, 17 RVNs, 1 SVN, and a reception/administration group. Practice equipment includes Digital X‑ray, Ultrasound with Doppler, ECG, in‑house lab, laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgical equipment, dental X‑ray, and advanced surgical tools.
Responsibilities
* You will work 40 hours per week over 4 days a week (Mon‑Fri), plus 1 in 3 Saturdays alternately full day at Gateshead or 9‑12 am at a branch.
* Supported by working alongside experienced vets and fortnightly mentoring sessions with a dedicated GDP advisor.
* Participate in blended learning programme and CPD opportunities.
* Assist with medical and surgical procedures under supervision.
