Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Dundee
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for precision and teamwork? We are a leading name in textile innovation, is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team at our Dundee headquarters.
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key role in our busy finance department, supporting all areas of the business. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks-from processing invoices and reconciling accounts to handling international payments and responding to customer queries. Key Responsibilities
Post daily cash receipts and issue sales invoices
Reconcile sales ledger and general ledger monthly
Process purchase invoices with accurate coding and VAT treatment
Ensure timely supplier payments and manage BACS (including international)
Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card transactions
Handle expense claims and agent commission payments
Respond to finance-related queries via email and phone
Assist with month-end reporting and general filing
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 year's experience in a similar accounting role
Strong organisational and time management skills
A proactive, "can-do" attitude and team spirit
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems
High attention to detail and a methodical approach
