Job Title: Fire Risk Assessor (Technical)
Location: Morpeth, Northumberland
Pay Rate: £20.60 PAYE or £26.66 Umbrella per hour
Contract: 4th May 2026 – 1st August 2026
Hours: 37 hours per week (09:00 – 17:00)
Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Fire Risk Assessor (Technical) to join a local authority in Northumberland on a temporary contract.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for carrying out fire risk assessments across a range of properties, ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation and supporting the organisation in maintaining safe environments for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct fire risk assessments in line with current legislation and best practice
* Identify hazards and recommend appropriate control measures
* Produce clear, detailed reports and action plans
* Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards
* Work closely with internal teams to implement safety improvements
* Support ongoing monitoring and review of fire safety procedures
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Fire Risk Assessor
* Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and compliance
* Relevant fire safety qualifications/certifications
* Experience working within housing, public sector, or similar environments
* Excellent report writing and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
