The Position

As a member of the central brand and marketing team the role holder is responsible for the technical management and development of our group digital marketing channels, primarily our corporate website, and other associated websites including project websites and associated business websites (such as JVs and acquisitions). The role holder is also responsible for digital content creation, including web design, video production, animation and graphic design.

Supporting the Senior Marketing Manager the role holder will ensure RES digital channels and content are impactful and engage with key audiences, driving measurable results that raise the RES profile in key markets, to drive clarity, recognition and recall of our brand.

The role holder will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure that our channels are fit‑for‑purpose, meet all the required standards, follow best practices, and provide a great user experience that showcases our brand and services.


Accountabilities

* Leading and guiding internal and external partners on platform security, compliance and performance
* Implementing analytics across channels, including managing our Google Analytics account at channel and campaign level, and reporting on channel performance
* Develop and improve our approach to marketing through platform, channel innovation – keeping abreast of trends and ensuring RES is differentiated from its peers
* Driving continuous improvement by leading regular reviews of channels with key stakeholders, making best practice recommendations and implementing actions
* Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders in marketing, strategy and business development to ensure activities align to business objectives
* Lead the development and implementation of digital platform designs and brand standards to ensure consistent UX and UI across tools and platforms
* Create and edit web content and pages on all corporate websites
* Provide technical web support and guidance


Skills

* Good knowledge of UX & UI principles and how to apply them
* Good knowledge of web coding, including HTML5, CSS and JQuery/JavaScript
* Strong understanding of SEO and analytics
* Strong technical understanding of developing and implementing websites on multiple platforms
* Ability to lead projects across multiple internal and external stakeholders
* Confident communicator and influencer – comfortable managing external vendors and working with a range of stakeholders including senior leaders
* Ability to learn new skills, keep on top of developments and innovations and disseminate learnings with colleagues
* Collaborative team player with a clear sense of ownership and accountability
* Strategic thinking – able to assess opportunities, prioritise resources and make recommendations


Experience

* Good experience working as part of an in‑house or agency digital team
* Experience with CMS platforms, especially Umbraco and WordPress
* Planning and managing website implementation
* Measuring and reporting on channel performance
* Experience managing external vendors


Qualifications

* A degree in web design or similar subject
* Further qualifications in specific areas of web design or development are desirable
* Experience at a similar level of role in digital or web design
