We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Fort William/An Gearasdan, Highland. We offer a permanent 39‑hour full‑time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days a week.
Please note that for full‑time positions we will generally require you to be fully flexible in your availability for work throughout the week, including weekends.
Hours
39 hours across 5 days per week.
Pay & benefits

Responsibilities
* Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
* Help customers find the items they are looking for.
* Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
* Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
* Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
Qualifications & attributes
* A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
* Enjoy being busy – willingness to jump from deliveries to the till, helping customers, cleaning and stock rotation.
* Reliability – you will be an important part of a small team and your colleagues and customers will depend upon you to do your best on each shift.
* Flexibility with your shifts – when other team members are on holiday we may need you to work slightly different hours.
