35 hours per week Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm
The Role:
One of Manchester leading Universitys are seeking a highly organised and proactive Library Administrator to join the Library team. This role provides administrative and operational support across the university Library and other departments.
You will play a key role in supporting senior staff, coordinating activities, and contributing to the effective running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level administrative support to senior management.
* Organise and manage meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
* Coordinate departmental projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases.
* Support communications within the department and across the university.
* Assist with financial and HR processes as required.
* Act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Person Specification:
1. Proven experience in an administrative or executive support role.
2. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
