Key Responsibilities include a wide range of tasks, including maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement activities across various systems such as production machinery, chemical processing equipment, textile and conversion lines, air compressors, boilers, chiller systems, HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), and SCADA systems.
To be successful in this role, you will be responsible for the health and safety of yourself and others at all times during engineering interventions. This includes maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping and GMP in all aspects of work.
* Electrical and mechanical problem solving and fault diagnosis across full site.
* Determining appropriate safety standards for new and existing equipment and methods of installation.
Requirements
* HNC / ONC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering preferred. Experienced in managing electrical systems.
* An understanding of clean room or controlled environment controls i.e. HVAC, Humidity and Pressure Cascades etc.
* Broad experience in Electrical Systems, Operations and Maintenance, with proven ability in the management of site infrastructure systems and services, such as: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems and controls, Fire Protection systems, LV Electrical networks.
* Fluent PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus ideally MS Project, CAD.
* General Knowledge of 18th Edition (BS-7671) IEE Regulations.
* Knowledge of PLC's and SCADA systems would be advantageous.
