Here at GXO, we are recruiting for anWarehouse Shift Manager (Nights)to join team in Avonmouth, supporting one of our new business wins! As a Shift Manager, you will beresponsible for managing and leading your own team helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.
This is a full time, permanent position, working a 3 on 3 off shift pattern, 18:00 06:00.

Were looking to offer a salary of up to£47,250.00 per annum, and 20 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What Youll Do On a Typical Day
* Manage and lead the shift, striving to maximise productivity, quality, and efficiency across the Warehouse
* Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
* Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement to ensure efficient and accurate process
* Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation
* Management of the warehouse training requirement and function
What You Need To Succeed At GXO
* Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment at a similar level
* The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
* Positive, people-oriented approach and readiness to tackle the challenges of the night shift
